1000 Hours Outside 2021 Time Tracker Design Contest

tracker contest

This contest is closed though we will probably run one next year since it was so successful! Congrats to our winners: Lisa, Val, and Reed (age 10) and thank you to all participants. Find the new, free-to-download 2021 trackers here >> NEW 1000 HOURS OUTSIDE TRACKER SHEETS !

The concept at the core of 1000 Hours Outside is simple - the amount of time kids spend outside ‘actually matters’, though you may not hear this very often. A childhood flooded with nature time benefits kids (and adults) in untold ways.

The spirit behind this journey is one of encouragement and excitement - not burden. For many, being intentional about scheduling in nature time is the one thing needed to transform childhood.

For a few years now we’ve provided a few variations of a free downloadable 1000 Hours Outside time tracker sheet that has been downloaded tens of thousands of times all across the world. Every year there are some of you who design your own tracker sheet and you send them my way. Because of your talent and enthusiasm we’ve decided to partner with ten of our favorite brands to sponsor the first ever 1000 Hours Outside Tracker Design Contest! This tracker will be used for the 2021 calendar year.

Due to the generosity of these ten amazing sponsors we will be able to offer two adult winners plus one child winner age 12 and under a fantastic set of prizes. Each adult winner will receive $1000 in store credit, $100 each to the following shops:

The child winner (age 12 and under please) will receive $250 in store credit,
