At 1000 Hours Outside, our mission has always been to reconnect families with the natural world and to remind them that childhood was made for wonder, movement, and time spent under open skies. That’s why this collaboration is such a natural fit.

The Wild Brothers have long inspired children to marvel at God’s handiwork across the globe, and now, through this curriculum, they are inviting your family into that same spirit of exploration right in your own backyard. Whether you’re in a rural field or a city park, the fingerprints of the Creator are everywhere — in the buzzing of bees, the rustling of leaves, the shifting clouds above.

As a mom of five, I’ve seen firsthand how time outside changes everything. It calms the mind, fuels imagination, and draws us closer to the Lord and those around us. In a world where screens are the default, Off the Couch Into Creation is a call to rise — to step into the beauty and truth that surrounds us.
