Fair Trade African Bolga Basket - Large

Sale Price:$35.00 Original Price:$70.00
Sold Out

There are various uses for these beautiful baskets - take them along on your picnic, to the farmer’s market, for a garden harvest, fruit collecting, to the beach, foraging and nature collecting and more.

Inside, they are great for magazine or book storage, a place to store hats and gloves, a large gift basket and more.

Each basket is truly one-of-a-kind and hails from open-air markets in Ghana, where weavers are paid fair-trade wages. The baskets vary in size but are roughly 15in x 11in with a single handle style. They ship flat and will require re-shaping, which is easy to do; you can dip in them in water, put them under a running faucet or simply use a spray bottle to wet them and mold them with your hands.

Our photos are a sample of the wide variations available and are not necessarily the baskets we have on hand. We will make every effort to send you the color palate of your choice but cannot guarantee it with 100% accuracy - but we try our best!

Our baskets from Ghana are some of the best produced in all of Africa. Whether used indoors or outdoors, know that your basket purchase is helping to sustain an age-old tradition in Ghana and supporting families there.
